- Assume you need to repair your aircraft.
- Assume you want to modify your aircraft.
- Assume you want to extend the life of your aircraft.
- Assume you want to fly your aircraft.
Armstrong Engineering Services can help. We design, analyze and test aircraft structural components, approve these modification or repairs and obtain FAA approval. Armstrong engineers ensure that aircraft meet or exceed all current flight operating standards and facilitates the certification process to meet Federal Aviation Requirements (FARs), which govern the flight of aircraft within the U.S. We work closely with customers to attain certification documentation resulting either in a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) or in a Form 337, both of which allow aircraft to fly with the accomplished modification.
Our engineers have been given authority by the Federal Aviation Administration to accomplish and approve the work that goes into keeping your aircraft operating. Our on-staff Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) in structures approve structural modifications to both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
